When He Says You're Ready

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐻𝑒 𝐒𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲

Sometimes we delay what God has asked us to do because we don’t feel 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝. We think we need to pray more, learn more, or achieve more before we can step out.

We tell ourselves:
“I can’t share the Word yet; I don’t know enough.”
“I can’t encourage someone financially; I’m not where I want to be.”
“I can’t serve; I’m still struggling myself.”

But here’s the truth: 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬—𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐬.

When God says you’re ready, you are ready. Not because you are perfect, but because He is. He doesn’t wait until you feel adequate; He equips you as you obey. 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬 said, “I am slow of speech” (Exodus 4:10), yet God still sent him to speak to Pharaoh.

𝐆𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨𝐧 saw himself as “the least in his family” (Judges 6:15), yet God called him a mighty warrior.

𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 cried, “I am too young” (Jeremiah 1:6), but God replied, “Do not say, ‘I am a youth’… I am with you” (Jeremiah 1:7–8).

These men didn’t feel ready, but God wasn’t asking for readiness—He was asking for 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.

So today, if you’ve been holding back because you think you need to “get it all together” first, let this be your reminder: 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮. God places the treasure in jars of clay (2 Corinthians 4:7) so that the excellence of the power may be of Him and not of us.

When He says, “Share,” share. When He says, “Go,” go. When He says, “Help,” help.

Because someone’s breakthrough might be waiting on your 𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞—not your 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
